Dr. Christopher Di Turi is a duly trained prosthodontist.
He is an honor graduate of the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. Also, he was fortunate to be trained at notable teaching hospital centers such as Memorial Sloan Kettering, Manhattan Veterans Administration Hospital, Long Island Jewish University Hospital, Castle Point Veterans Administration Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital.
Dr. Di Turi has concentrated on providing an extremely high quality level of dental care to his patients using a nurturing spirit in a gentle and pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Di Turi was fortunate to be educated and trained by some of the country’s leading prosthodontists (many of whom have later sought him out for care).
Dr. Di Turi has a passion for practicing dentistry and his clinical expertise is recognized in the dental community. Dr. Di Turi serves in many capacities, including a two-year tenure as president of the New Jersey section of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) as well as a national delegate and an international delegate for the American College of Prosthodontics. He has served on boards and committees for both organizations. Besides his excellence in education, the doctor’s keen eye for aesthetics assists him in choosing the procedures that suit the patient for the best desired result.
Dr. Di Turi is a typical perfectionist who is always in the pursuit of excellence, whether fine-tuning his own personal skills and talent or providing exceptional patient care. He addresses every level of detail for his treatment. He is an artist as well as a scientist.
He holds a title of clinical assistant professor of prosthodontics (postgraduate position) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He has also served on the Board of Trustees for Columbus Hospital and the Medical Advisory Board for the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation. He has been recognized by prestigious dental organizations and awarded fellowship.
He is also the senior dental scientist at Orthobond Corporation and the senior dental scientist for research and development at Archer Medical. Dr. Di Turi has developed several patents for assorted dental materials.
He has received multiple accolades for his academic skills as a student, clinical skills as a dentist and prosthodontist, and engineering skills for his research and development.
